After being put in, India got off to a disastrous start losing both Mayank Agarwal and
early. Prithvi Shaw was looking very good but his run out made it worse for India. But thanks to Shreyas Iyer and
, the Indians have managed to put a more than decent total. The duo added 100-run stand with Iyer getting to his fifty but getting out against the run of play. Manish Pandey then continued his carried on from Iyer left off. Pandey and Rahul added 107 with Rahul getting a century. The pair struggled to flourish towards the fag end though and that meant they could muster only 42 runs in the final 5 overs as both of them departed off consecutive deliveries. This meant India could not get to 300 but are just short of it.
